    Our Story

    At ChoicesConsultingInc.com, our story began with a passion for helping people determine their needs via assessement and clinical interview due to a testing violation (P/E, R, PA, RTD, F/UP. SD,  and other tests type) and determine what level of response is needed to help you return to duty . We can assess FAA, FMCSA, FRA, FTA, USCG,  and PHMSA.

    Our Services

     

    1. Conduct a Virtual or face-to-face assessment.
    2. Recommend a treatment plan or education.
    3. Send a report to the employer.
    4. Monitor the employee's progress.
    5. Conduct a follow-up evaluation to verify the employee's completion of the recommendations 

    Our Approach

     The employee must also:

    • Complete the treatment recommendation
    • Pass a drug and/or alcohol return-to-duty test 
    • The RTD process can take a few days to months to complete, depending on the employee's participation and the SAP's recommendations. The SAP program usually remains on the employee's record for five years, but this can be longer if the employee stops working in a safety-sensitive position and stops receiving DOT tests. After completing the RTD process, employees must undergo at least six unannounced follow-up tests within the first year. Depending on the SAP's recommendations, follow-up testing may continue for up to 60 months. The follow-up testing plan applies to subsequent employers and breaks in service.
